Muffler protector for the BMW R 1250 GS and Adventure
(PresseBox) - Motocrossers have long been familiar with them: in tough competition use, muffler protectors have proven themselves decidedly to protect the muffler. This was the reason for BMW specialist Wunderlich to now develop and present such a muffler protector for the BMW R 1250 GS as well as the Adventure.
The muffler is particularly vulnerable in the event of falling over or slipping. This applies to motocross, but just as much in everyday life. The Wunderlich protector takes over the protection of the standard muffler of the GS and ensures that nothing worse happens. It shines with its coherent design, which picks up the look of the end cap and the beading of the muffler and continues it perfectly. Two polygonal vents complete the design integration. The premium quality is evident in the detail workmanship.
The Wunderlich developers have deliberately generously dimensioned the structure and material thickness of the muffler protector so that, in the event of a fall, it distances the muffler from the ground and can thus offer the best possible protective effect.
The protector is easy to install. It is made of heat-resistant silicone elastomer, which is additionally stabilized with a stainless steel insert. This means that it can be simply "pulled on" over the muffler cap without tools - like a banderole - and positioned precisely.
The material properties are such that the friction between the muffler and protector ensures that it fits securely and immovably when mounted.
