(PresseBox) - Just in time for its 40th anniversary, Wunderlich is adding a completely new case variant to its tried and tested EXTREME system luggage family with the appropriate name: EXTREME DirectLock. The name was not chosen in vain, as this pannier system can be attached to the original pannier rack of the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure.
Just like that. Without tools.
This effort is worth it, because the DirectLock cases are a useful and functional tool of long-lasting quality. Like all EXTREME cases, they impress with selected materials and excellent workmanship. The volume of the cases is 2 x 45 litres, making an impressive 90 litres in total. Wunderlich manufactures them in pure, untreated aluminium or powder-coated in black. The untreated aluminium version is for purists who appreciate the materiality and appearance of the original, untreated and robust material. In the black powder-coated version, the high-quality case looks both technical and elegant.
A total of six locking cylinders are required for the case set, two each for the lid and two each for locking the cases to the original BMW case carrier.
