The integration helps organizations to archive their document storage in the context of information lifecycle management (ILM) and manage the lifecycle of digital data. The dependencies on personal data and documents are mapped and can thus also be deleted within the legally required time periods.

The inPuncto archiving software is designed to meet the needs of businesses that use SAP technologies for audit-proof and GDPR-compliant archiving. The ILM store enables both unstructured (documents, attachments and print lists) and structured data to be provided with ILM rules and data, with documents managed via the SAP ArchiveLink interface.
Thanks to a defined filing structure, the management data (ContentServer and ILM) ? stored in a structured query language server that relieves the load on SAP S/4HANA ? is used by two different interfaces. The stored data is always managed by SAP S/4HANA.
