With the TOURING windshield - in combination with the Rock ?n? Roll cockpit fairing - the touring and long-distance suitability of the R 18 can be noticeably improved without compromising the stylistic line of the cruiser, quite the contrary. The aerodynamic shape of the compact windshield, which is cleverly shaped to suit the rider, directs the flow of the airstream upwards and thus provides the desired relief from wind pressure for the rider. This applies even from medium speeds. The integrated windshield, together with the Wunderlich cockpit fairing, ensures an overall optimised, laminar flow of the R 18. The result: significantly more comfort on long distances!
Wunderlich impressively combines noticeably better ergonomics and protection with functional, but still absolutely stylish design. Just the right thing for cruising relaxed over the highways of this world on a road trip.
Solid five millimetre windshield thickness stands for mechanical and aerodynamic stability even at the highest speeds. The Wunderlich TOURING windshield has the same typical, high-quality finish as the SPORT version. Both are made of scratch- and break-resistant PMMA material, and their value and quality are recognisable when you look through them: a clear view, without distorting optical flaws that irritate. Another trademark: hand-polished, rounded edges that make a separate edge protector unnecessary.
