But for compact fuel canisters, oil bottles or other travel utensils, the BMW specialists have now presented a well thought-out and convincing solution: the Wunderlich case rack. It fits the in-house aluminium cases and top cases called EXTREME as well as the original BMW aluminium cases.
The case rack is the perfect addition to the case for everything that either needs to be quickly at hand or has no business being in the case. It holds the travel canisters commonly used by motorcyclists for fuel or oil bottles, as well as compact storage canisters for water or other travel utensils. This prevents liquids from leaking in the case and the space freed up in the case can be used for better things.
The solid stainless steel rack is conveniently designed to hold two of the tried and tested Wunderlich aluminium bottles side by side. This means that oil and petrol, for example, can be conveniently carried separately. Securing is done by means of straps or expanders and the numerous lashing holes integrated in the rack.
The rack can be mounted on the right and/or left case. The secure attachment of the rack is very simple: it is permanently attached to the respective case lock at the top and protected against theft at existing points. At the bottom, the rack is securely fixed to the case using a Velcro fastening. This also serves as damping. This eliminates the need to drill holes in the case, which could lead to leaks.
