New IDS lenses with 5, 8 and 10 MP: Excellent price-performance ratio
From cameras to lenses, all components are provided by a single supplier
(PresseBox) - IDS is now offering more than 20 new C-mount lenses. Thanks to lens resolutions of 5, 8 and 10 MP as well as different focal lengths and optical classes, they can be used in numerous application scenarios. In addition, they are characterised by a very good price-performance ratio. With these features they fit seamlessly into the "It''s so easy!" product philosophy of the company.
"When implementing image processing applications, it is not only important to choose the right camera, the lens also has a decisive influence on the image quality," explains Janically if required. This ensures that brightness and image quality remain constant even if the lens is exposed to vibrations, for example. An additional set of screws is included in each delivery.
The new lenses not only meet high demands on optical quality, but are also more than competitive in terms of price. "For our customers, this means that they receive all components from camera to lens from a single supplier ? and in the usual high IDS quality," says Hejna. The lenses can both be obtained from the company?s webstore where a configurator helps select the right model or via the local IDS sales representative.
