It is becoming increasingly important for component manufacturers in the architectural sector to adapt their product data to requirements through BIM (Building Information Modeling). That is what RAILBETON recognized early on and is thus a pioneer in this industry: "BIM is one of the most important developments in recent years, especially in railway station planning. Digital product catalog: Single Source Input ? 2D & 3D Multi CAD Output
Customer service is not the only thing to benefit from a components catalog powered by CADENAS. With the modular system, all product data of the manufacturer is managed in a central database (single source). From there, 3D & 2D BIM CAD data can be automatically generated for diverse CAD systems. This multi-CAD capability of the digital building product catalog reduces maintenance efforts for the building product manufacturer. At the same time, the design data can be provided to the customer as a download in an optimal form and always up to date, e.g. from the manufacturer?s own website.
