HUGRO increases number of downloads within a year by 56% with CADENAS

HUGRO 3D CAD models extended with intelligent engineering data such as weight and customs tariff numbers

(PresseBox) - HUGRO-Armaturen GmbH registered a significant increase in 3D CAD downloads of more than 56% in 2017 compared to the previous year. The company from the German Black Forest wishes to expand that great success and, in the age of digitalization, is going a step further to digital twin. The products of the HUGRO Electronic Product Catalog have been extended with important engineering information such as weight information and customs tariff numbers. Moreover, the HUGRO product catalog will soon be enriched with important engineering information for engineers and purchasers.

Best customer service thanks to 3D CAD download

Already in 2009, HUGRO provided an Electronic Product Catalog and thus the best service for their customers. Since then, customers and prospects can download 3D CAD engineering data of the manufacturer''s products for cable glands and cable protection conduits from Waldkirch in the German Black Forest free of charge in over 100 native CAD formats such as Autodesk, Revit, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, NX, etc., and integrate directly into their design.

Additional HUGRO product lines as 3D CAD download in the future

"It''s important for our customers to have quick access to all product data via our website. Nowadays, speed in implementing new projects is extremely important", says Daniel L. Zimmermann, CEO of HUGRO-Armaturen GmbH. "The increasing number of users at our download portal shows us that we are on the right path. We will therefore be extending it soon with additional product lines."
