The MKM 403 is the latest development from Microtech Gefell and consists of three Generation 4 modular microphones in one large microphone housing, allowing three capsules to be combined as needed before recording.
Combinations that allow you to move gradually from a directional microphone toward more ambient sound or back again are particularly practical.
?This gives the sound engineer at the mixing console the option of recording different signals on three tracks. During post-production, they can now use and mix the three channels as desired.
