New Publication: Real-time tracking of diesel exhaust paricles deposited on lung cells
(PresseBox) - We are proud to share the first publication introducing CalorQuanti as a groundbreaking technology for real-time tracking of particle deposition on lung cells.
Researchers from the BioNanomaterials group at the Adolphe Merkle Institute have successfully validated the novel CalorQuanti System, developed in collaboration with NanoLockin and VITROCELL Systems GmbH.
The Cloud Alpha/CalorQuanti platform integrates advanced aerosol exposure technology with lock-in thermography, enabling precise, non-destructive monitoring of particle deposition at the air-liquid interface.
This innovative system closely replicates real-life inhalation conditions, allowing researchers to quantify particle deposition in real time and assess biological responses in the same living cell cultures.
This advance marks a significant step toward more accurate toxicity assessments and supports the development of science-based public
health and occupational safety standards.
