KeepTool: Increasing performance with Oracle Bulk Insert Scripts
Efficient processing of large amounts of data with KeepTool 16
(PresseBox) - Working with Oracle databases is unimaginable without SQL scripts. Especially with inserts for large amounts of data, we often find that thousands of individual SQL commands have to be executed sequentially one after the other.
To enable several data records to be processed together in a single insert command - even in parallel if necessary - and thus significantly improve the performance of the script, KeepTool has enabled the generation of Oracle Bulk Insert Scripts in version 16 of its tools for Oracle databases.
The current blog post uses a specific example to describe the details of using the new feature. Various options for use are presented.
Interested parties can test the current version at any time free of charge for 30 days. KeepTool 16 is available for download at https://keeptool.com/en/download/.
