Soft-Touch Lacquer: A tactile highlight
(PresseBox) - Devices can be improved by means of colours and surface finishes. As a customisation option, we therefore offer a wide selection of lacquers to enhance your devices. There are various reasons for lacquering plastic enclosures and tuning knobs: you can lacquer them to match your corporate design, to achieve metallic effects, to ensure electrostatic discharge or, for example, to obtain an antimicrobial surface.
To improve the feel of your product, a soft-touch lacquer finish has recently been added to our range of lacquers: this gives your products a feel as soft as velvet, ensuring the pleasantly reliable operation of handheld instruments.
This lacquer is available in black and transparent as standard. In black, it can be applied directly onto the primer. As this soft-touch lacquer is also available in a transparent finish, there is no limit to the colours you can use: the colours can be selected as usual according to RAL or from a wide range of Pantone shades; however, they can also be defined according to customer samples. The imitation leather-like, transparent soft-touch lacquer is then applied in the final step to achieve this unique, fascinating finish in the customer s own individual colours.
