FGL renamed licht.de

(licht.de) Fördergemeinschaft Gutes Licht (FGL) adopted a new name: licht.de. "Short and to the point, it signals our extensive expertise as an adviser in matters of lighting," says managing director Dr. Jürgen Waldorf. Moreover, he adds, the new name doubles as a reference to the key industry portal www.licht.de, where FGL has been successfully providing impartial, authoritative information on the basics and features of good lighting since the early 1990s.

On the heels of the name change comes a new design for the series of publications "licht.wissen" and the periodical "licht.forum", which is devoted to current lighting issues. The basic points of content remain unchanged: up-to-the-minute information and comprehensive service for designers and architects, engineers and dealers as well as for the end consumer.

Established in 1970, FGL was one of the earliest sectoral marketing initiatives on the scene. An association of companies within the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association ZVEI, it bundles the expertise of more than 125 members across the luminaire and lamp industry.
