SPA-Domains: Landrush Period has recently started
(PresseBox) - The ICANN process of introducing new top level domains is progressing. The landrush period of SPA-Domains runs from May 26, 2021 to October 1, 2021.
Spa-Domains are suitable for all websites that deal with therapeutic baths, health resorts, cures or wellness. On the internet you can read the following about spa: "But what does spa actually mean? The word spa originally comes from Latin and is the abbreviation for" sanus per aquam ", which translates as: healthy through water. However, it is controversial whether the term spa used in German-speaking countries is also derived from it for wellness facilities. "
We find something special here: Standard Spa-Domains at the landrush period cost 149 US-Dollar/year. Renewing a Landrush Standard Domain costs 59 US-Dollar/year. This is also the price for registering a Spa-Domain at the General Availabiity.
To be eligible for SPA-Domain, the registrant must be able to provide information demonstrating that they have any of the following:
An applicant in this category must be a commercial or trading company with a valid business registration certificate
A membership with any spa or wellness industry association;
A declaration that the domain will be used for the promotion of spas and wellness related products or services.
A valid operating license, where applicable; (e) A spa, beauty or wellness certification, where applicable;
We recommend companies that for whatever reason cannot prove membership in an association of the spa and wellness industries to apply as an individual for a spa domain. Proof of membership in a wellness association is not mandatory for individuals.
For non spa and wellness related coincidental communities registration type such as Town of Spa in Belgium as well as the Italian Chambers of Commerce who is responsible for ?Societ
An applicant in this category should provide a valid entity business registration, or equivalent;
Director/Owner proof of identity
required to furnish address proof e.g. utility bill with address
An applicant in this category must provide proof of identity which may include identification card copy, passport copy.
A declaration that the domain will be used for the promotion of spas and wellness related products or services.
A valid operating license, where applicable;
A spa, beauty or wellness certification, where applicable
