epay and Payzone Ireland partner to offer retailers prepaid products
(PresseBox) - One of Payzone Ireland?s core initiatives is to continuously seek and add products to their suite of offerings to their retailers. These are products which are known to generate incremental revenue for retailers through real consumer demand. In 2020, Payzone Ireland selected epay as their exclusive supplier of prepaid gift cards. Through this partnership, epay introduced this product set in select stores, launching before the festive period.
The epay gift cards that are now available to Irish consumers nationwide, are prepaid vouchers which can be purchased in-store using cash or card. This is a great option for consumers who would prefer not to register their credit or debit card details online. These gift cards can be used to top up accounts, wallets, and purchase items through online brands such as Just Eat, Spotify Premium and PlayStation.
The Payzone retail network of over 3,500 stores across the country process a variety of electronic service transactions including mobile phone top-up, debit/credit card transactions, M50 motorway toll payments, Leap, local property tax payments, parking fees, pre-paid utility and parcel collection services, and now prepaid gift vouchers.
epay, a leading international full-service provider for payment transactions, gift cards and prepaid solutions took on the technical and commercial project in 2020. This comprised of an API integration enabling seamless gift card activation and transaction through the till system, and end-to-end design, production, and implementation of a catalogue of gift card units. With epay?s experience in the gift card industry, epay were able to category manage and optimize the gift card range on offer to consumers on all unit types.
