Berner Group decides to partner with ISO Professional Services for long-term data governance
(PresseBox) - The ISO Professional Services GmbH (IPS) won the Berner Group?s tender for the best SAP
Active in over 23 European countries, the Berner Group has been providing commercial customers in construction, manufacturing, mobility and building maintenance with indispensable products for everyday work for over 60 years. Despite the current Pandemic situation, the family run business is continually expanding. They currently have 8,200 employees and have achieved record sales this year.
The Berner Group was looking for a quickly available solution integrated in SAP S/4 HANA to optimize data governance processes. The solution should not only improve data quality, but also simplify, accelerate and safe guard the data handling procedures. By introducing the holistic data governance process, including duplicate detection, address validation, VAT-ID and sanction list checking, the ISO Professional Services met the requirements exactly. The installation of the SAP add-ons was completed within two weeks.
A further challenge was the optimization and centralization of credit management. Marlin Content, from now on, offers the Berner Group the possibility to centrally use various data providers, i.e. beDirect and Bisnode and concurrently connect various country-specific credit ratings. Master data will be immediately identified and enriched with specific attributes upon data creation.
Furthermore, IPS succeeded in embedding the new add-ons for SAP S/4 HANA into the old SAP ECC6-environment within the transition period. This simplified the migration considerably. Combining further systems like SAP Ariba to the IPS governance solution is also planned.
