If your Offer is "selected", the Select-Domain is your Domain...

As long as there is no ".premium" domain, you can use ".select" to display the higher quality character of your product or service. For example, as a French winemaker from Champagne, you could offer "champagner.select". You would speak at the text of your website of a selected champagne. The antiquities dealer can use antiquities.select to characterize his offer as a well above average offer selected by a skilled hand.
There are some companies that have "select" in their company name. You can often shorten your domain name by registering the name under .select. carglass-select-inc.com can become carglass.select. A short domain name is easy to remember. The ability to remember is a key function for the successful marketing of websites.
A study by Searchmetrics has shown the connection between better ranking and the new top level domains for the Berlin domains. Websites with Berlin domains often rank better in Google than regional websites with de-domains and com-domains. The result of the Searchmetrics study can be summarized as follows:

The study by Total Websites in Houston shows that the results of Searchmetrics can be generalized to all new top level domains, including the select domains: It found that Google uses the domain endings of the new top level domains as a key element for the evaluation of Domain takes.

First comes the comparison, then the selection, first the Compare-Domains, then the select domains.
The sunrise period of the Select-Domains starts on April 6, 2020. In the sunrise period, trademark owners can apply for the same Select-Domains. Registration of the trademarks with the Trademark Clearinghouse is necessary.
Select-Domains are suitable for all websites that deal with voting and decision-making.
General availability starts on May 6th.
