New: New-Domains at the Limited Registration Period
(PresseBox) - Secura GmbH has announced today, that Google has acknowledged, that the company may offer the new New-Domains also during the Limited Registration Period.
New-Domains are the ultimate domains for online activities. The New-Domains are self-explanatory domains: New-Domains produce something new.
If you want that recipients of your websites write news on your page or that visitors write new software programs at you page, or you want your customers, sales representatives, employees,or employees to create or edit documents, if you have a collection or catalog of books, video clips, documents, then register the New-Domain. For example, register tweet.new to create tweets or eventinvite.new to send invitations for events.
Google tells about the Limited Registration Period of the new New-Domains:
"Applications will be open until June 21, 2020. During the Limited Registration Period, Google Registry will judge application use case against the .new Registration Policy and user impact. We''ll evaluate in batches to balance fairness for applicants with ensure successful applicants can secure their domains without delay. First-come, first-served principles will not apply to applications within a single batch."
The Limited Registration Period of the New-Domains will end in June, 2020.
The General Availability of the .new domain names starts on July 21, 2020.
What is the goal of the New-Domain? The New-Domain provides a secure space for the creation, management and cataloging of self-generated texts, documents and products. Google Registry has made sure that all New-Domains are added to the "HSTS preload list"
