(PresseBox) - To celebrate 35 years since Wunderlich was founded, the company has announced it will be offering selected, special components under the label EDITION 35.
BMW only included the R nineT /5 in its range for a short period ? it?s no longer being produced. Wunderlich is now taking this natural limited run, which will increase the appeal of the model, one step further: Restricted to a run of just 35 units, the extremely limited DAYTONA EDITION 35 cockpit fairing now transforms it into a truly unmistakeable and unique piece.
The DAYTONA EDITION 35 cockpit fairing
The cockpit fairing is hand-painted to a high quality in metallic lupin blue with smoke effect, then finished to perfection with clear varnish. The all-round, asymmetric, white double lining - which both the ?old? /5 and the new model shouldn?t be without - integrates into the Wunderlich EDITION 35 logo and numbering with precision as if cast from a mould. Wunderlich leaves the painting in the capable hands of the master painter, who also paints the BMW accessories specialist?s concept bikes. The limit number is located on the left side next to the windshield. As expected with such an exclusive premium product, Wunderlich does it in a modest but visible way. The cockpit fairings are crafted by hand and numbered from 1/35 to 35/35. Customers are free to choose the matching windshield: depending on their preference, customers can choose between a sporty version or a taller version that is suitable for sporty touring.
Wunderlich EXCLUSIVE
Wunderlich does not sell the EDITION 35 via its online shop, but instead has set up a landing page solely for the /5 cockpit fairing. Interested customers can either call to discuss their order or place their order by email. The limit numbers still available are listed on the landing page to ensure that customers have the chance to select their personal limit number.
Naturally, orders can also be submitted directly in the shop at Wunderlich?s company headquarters.
Experience shows the numbers 1, 2, 3, 7, 11, 13, 22, 33, 35 are the most coveted so anyone who makes a decision early on increases their chances of getting the personal number of their choice. With such a small series, however, each individual limit number is exclusive. Wunderlich crafts the cockpit fairings according to the sequence in which orders are received and due to the exclusive craftsmanship involved, requests that customers plan approx. 5-6 weeks for delivery.
The certificate
Each of the 35 exclusive DAYTONA EDITION 35 cockpit fairings from Wunderlich is delivered with a certificate confirming its authenticity.
You can?t get greater individual exclusivity than this.
