Onlineprinters expands in Spain
Online print company acquires Copysell and SombraCero
(PresseBox) - Following the UK and Scandinavia, the Onlineprinters Group has increased its presence in the Spanish market. The acquisition of print company Copysell and SombraCero, its large-format production affiliate, was wrapped up already in January. Copysell operates its own production facility south of Madrid as well as five shops in the greater Madrid area.
Already in 2011, Onlineprinters launched a Spanish web shop to enable customers to shop in their native language. "The Spanish country shop has developed strongly since then. The market in Spain still holds a lot of potential which we will develop together with our new subsidiary for the benefit of the Onlineprinters Group. The Madrid site is the perfect location to assure the fast delivery of printed products to customers on the entire Iberian Peninsula and in Portugal," Roland Keppler, the CEO of Onlineprinters, comments on the acquisition.
Jose A. Rivero Baro (CEO), the founder of Copysell, will lead the company together with Francisco Cembranos (CCO) and Alberto Fernandez (CFO). Jose A. Rivero Baro and Francisco Cembranos founded SombraCero together. "With our Spanish colleagues we have taken experienced experts on board and we hope that our presence in the region will boost the development opportunities of our country market. The expansion of the Onlineprinters Group will also benefit our sites in Germany," Roland Keppler says.

Employing a staff of more than 1,500, Onlineprinters produced 3.2 billion+ printed advertising products last year.
