New test suites and comprehensive security portfolio for critical infrastructures at the Security League booth at it-sa 2019 in Nuremberg, Germany
(PresseBox) - Nuremberg/Paderborn, October 8th, 2019 - The achelos GmbH presents itself from 8. to 10. October 2019 under the motto "kick IT" in hall 10.0, booth 311 for the kick-off game of the top team of the security league at the it-sa 2019 in Nuremberg. With the eIDAS Inspector and the TLS Checklist Inspector, the IT security experts from Paderborn will demonstrate two new test suites as well as an extensive portfolio of products and services for security-critical fields of application. Both new products will be presented for the first time at it-sa. The live demos at the booth will be complemented by a practical presentation by Heinfried Cznottka, Director Business Development at achelos. On October 9th, he will provide information on the topic: eIDAS, PSD2, ... . - everything safe? in the Technology Forum of it-sa in Hall 10.1
With the development of the eIDAS Inspector achelos provides an answer to the requirements of the European Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 (eIDAS Regulation). The new test system from achelos serves to verify electronically signed digital certificates and seals, electronic signatures, time stamps and other electronically signed documents, e.g. XML files (XAdES), PDF files (PAdES) or data containers (ASiC).
With the TLS Checklist Inspector achelos demonstrates a new web portal solution. The test suite easily and efficiently checks the security of websites according to the guidelines of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).
"The two new test suites expand our comprehensive portfolio of security test suites as needed. The eIDAS Inspector is used as a supporting testing tool in certification processes, for process-accompanying output control (e.g. in trust centers) or for verifying digital authorization documents at the end user. The TLS Checklist Inspector is suitable as proof for the operation of a secure website," describes Kathrin Asmuth, managing partner at achelos, the advantages of the new products.

The presentation draws a tension sheet from technical requirements of the eIDAS regulation for providers and service providers to the demonstration of a tool for eIDAS verification as practical help.
