Silgan Whitecap is one of the market leaders of metal and plastic closures for the food industry. The internationally operating supplier with European and Asian headquarter in Hannover applies the software products of the DMS specialist inPuncto for the automated invoice processing within SAP since 2011.
The introduction, customizing and installation of inPuncto-Products have been carried out quickly and smoothly. The establishment of settings was executed locally only one time, everything else was operating ?remote?. The responsible at Sligan Whitecap noticed, that software by inPuncto ?is already established in a really intuitive way, so that no tedious training was necessary?.
Not least, especially the slim program architecture without redundancies to the existing mother system SAP has convinced and - aside from other advantages ? turned the balance to the purchase of the inPuncto software.
Deep SAP-Integration for 20 years
The inPuncto GmbH specialized in document management in SAP for 20 years, among other things in the area of Human Resources (e-File) and Finance (automated invoice processing). With the modular established biz, the software developer, based in Esslingen and Heidelberg, offers interested customers the advantage to arrange fitted SAP add-on software exactly for the own volume of the company resp. the individual needs. In case of the electronic invoice processing for Silgan Whitecap the inPuncto products are called biz, biz biz, biz.
Individual adjustments to the enterprise needs
Silgan Whitecap wanted to have realized two further specialties which inPuncto meanwhile offers as set program features. The first requirement was to provide the processing of invoices, another one concerned eady for business analyses in SAP. The first installation of the new electronic invoice processing at Silgan Whitecap started for the location Poland. But in the establishment it came to other unexpected delays in network processing, where inPuncto offered a further solution called "file-cashing".
In general, management of Silgan Whitecap was convinced to have found the right software provider for the document management in SAP because of reasons of quality and support.
