Last month at the Davos, World Economic Forum summit cybersecurity was high on the radar and recognized as one of the biggest challenges facing chief executives and political leaders around the world. There is also a warning that a failure to adequately protect against cyberattacks, could cost the global economy if such cyberattacks could shut down critical infrastructure and manufacturing plants. A recently released study (Industrial Security in 2019: A T) by T that they had never assessed the risks posed by cyberattacks on their operational technology. A further 34 percent were not aware of the extent to which these risks were investigated.
