(PresseBox) - Edmund OpticsZinc Selenide (ZnSe) Plano-Convex (PCX) Lenses, Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) Aspheric Lenses, CO2 Beam Expanders, and Lens Stress Analyzers are now available.
This collaboration makes it easier than ever before to purchase optical components for infrared applications throughout the design, prototyping, and production project cycles.

The CO2 Beam Expanders are constructed out of more premier grade ZnSe optical elements for collimating and improving the energy distribution of high power CO2 laser beams at 10,6 < 0,1 % absorbance per surface at 10,6 ?m.
The final new II-VI product offered by EO are Lens Stress Analyzers, which utilize cross polarization to identify mechanical stress, thermal stress, and contamination. They are available in either a portable, clip-on design or a bench-top model, ideal for lab settings.
