The custom VW restoration company completed a bone stock restoration that will be showcased to enthusiasts at the Huntsville showroom.

The early 1973 VW Super Beetle Convertible was brought into the workshop with significant body damage but was untouched by rust. The owner funded the restoration of this highly valued Super Beetle and opted for a complete stock restorationrequiring the Airkooled Kustoms team to source, fit, and finish the restoration with stock parts.
The team of custom VW restoration experts in Hazel Green, AL repaired, replaced, and restored the stock engine, brakes, suspension, and every nut, bolt, panel, and piston. The core restoration was followed by a full interior refurbishment and exterior paint job using a stock paint color, new upholstery, and a black convertible top.
The final restored 1973 Super Vert is displayed in the Hiley Volkswagen showroom and showcases the diligence and detail-orientation of the Airkooled Kustoms restoration process. The classic VW restoration shop in Hazel Green, AL also offers custom "Darkside" restorations in addition to custom suspensions, paint, and bodywork for vintage Volkswagens and Porsches.
