(PresseBox) - For users with a high demand of storage capacity and growing storage requirements, hosting provider EUserv Internet now offers solid and reliable servers ?Filer v5? with a storage capacity between 24TB and 80TB.
Four different models with large hard drives or fast SSD''s
The servers of the "Filer v5" series are based on Supermicro mainboards and are equipped with Intel XEON E3 or E5 processors as well as ECC RAM. The new server generation version 5 includes four models: The "Filer 24T" contains 4x 6 TB hard disks, the "Filer 40T" contains 4x 10TB hard disks and the "Filer 80T" contains 8x 10TB hard disks with a Hardware Raid Controller. In addition, there is the "Filer 8T SSD" where four SSD''s each with 2TB for high I/O throughput are installed.
All "Filer v5" servers are dedicated devices with full root access. The servers are offered with an unlimited 1GBit flatrate. The rental prices start at just under 60 EUR per month for the smallest model.
Additional features
All "Filer v5" servers also include 100GB FTP backup storage as well as webreset, reinstallation, monitoring and traffic evaluation. For optimum use of the hard disks, a separate installation of the operating system on an external 32GB USB flash drive is also possible. EUserv offers over 100 different operating systems for automatic installation. The devices are compatible with VMware or XEN servers and provide a high degree of flexibility with optional services such as Failover-IP. In this way, multiple servers in a VLAN and a separate IP network can be interconnected to build up your own storage network.
