Software and Consulting Company GBTEC Launches Joint Venture with imatia
With a newly found subsidiary, GBTEC expands into the Spanish speaking market and accelerates the development of its business process management (BPM) and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions.
(PresseBox) - The German specialist for business process management, GBTEC Software + Consulting AG, and imatia Innovation, Spanish provider of business software, establish a joint subsidiary. On January 17, Gregor Greinke, CEO at GBTEC, and his counterpart at imatia, Prof. Dr. Fernando Vazquez, signed the founding papers of GBTEC Software, S.L. The joint venture enhances an existing cooperation that serves the development of business process and risk management software.
For GBTEC, a software vendor with over 130 employees at its offices in Bochum and Munich, Germany, the new company GBTEC Software, S.L means a further step into internationalization. The joint venture, at which GBTEC holds a controlling share, will coordinate the activities in Spanish speaking countries. By opening its software portfolio to these markets, the company plans with a steady growth of international sales. Additionally, GBTEC Software, S.L will give new incentives for the constant development of BIC Cloud Workflow and BIC Cloud GRC, a specialist software for governance, risk, and compliance. At the beginning of its operations, the joint venture already opens its offices in two Spanish locations: at the headquarter of imatia in La Coruna and in Vigo.
With the BPM suite BIC Cloud, GBTEC offers a market leading software for business process management in Germany. BIC Cloud supports companies with the software-assisted optimization of business processes and thus serves as accelerator for digital transformation. As a leading provider of digitalization solutions in the Spanish speaking markets, imatia also holds many years of experience in BPM. The Galician company with more than 150 employees in Spain and Brazil has an experienced development team.
Greinke says that the joint venture is a logical consequence of this cooperation.
