Surface Segmentation Tool
This tool identifies discrete parts contained within a 3D surface scan even if they are touching or partially overlapping. This allows the user to report statistics on global information such as part count, min/max height, width, and length. And, with an SDK application or GDK tool, engineers can apply 3D surface measurements on individual parts.
The Segmentation tool can be used for applications where multiple parts appear in the field of view of the sensor simultaneously ? such as inline grading and sorting of food items.

Surface Track Tool
The new Surface Track tool allows the user to define and upload a preset measurement path onto their Gocator
This tool is highly effective in applications such as measuring the height and volume of glue beads on electronics devices, or for the quality inspection of weld seams.

Easy Universal Robots (UR) IntegrationUsers can now easily integrate Gocatorg, making it easy to set up robotic systems for factory automation applications.

Built-in PROFINET Support
Gocator now has built-in support for the PROFINET protocol for communication with factory equipment supporting this widely used PLC standard developed by Siemens.
