Large field of vision despite front darkening blind
(PresseBox) - The new Dometic front darkening blind keeps curious eyes and unlight out at the campsite, and it also ensures unimpaired vision during the journey.
With the facelift model of the FP200 accessory specialist Dometic sets new standards in front darkening systems for current Fiat Ducato models and campervans of the same design (Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper, model years from 2006, without rear-view mirror). All those who have formerly done without a windscreen pleated blind to avoid having a smaller field of vision, will now find an optimal solution in the FP300. The design of the Dometic FP300 even better adjusts to the shape of the current Fiat Ducato, so it will neither impair the field of vision nor require laborious installation. The side sections of the FP300 pick up the shape of the A-columns of the Fiat Ducato which means they can simply be attached. On-board entertainment was also taken into account: The speakers fitted on the A column simply slot into the recessed areas in the side sections of the FP300, so they can be used as they normally would be. The upper part of the pleated blind was reduced to the absolute minimum to ensure optimal vision during the drive. Fitting the upper blind is very easy because it?s no longer necessary to remove the sun visors for the retrofit, and the front darkening blind will also well adjust to an existing rain sensor box.
Just like the predecessor model, the FP300 consists of a double-pleated, aluminium coated honeycomb material, which gives sufficient privacy inside the vehicle and keeps UV rays, heat and cold out. Based on the well proven FP200 system, the FP300 protects from prying eyes, while it also offers the option to let light into the vehicle as it can be vertically adjusted to any position required.
