YAKINDU Solidity Tools selected as Grantee of the Ethereum Foundation Grants Program
(PresseBox) - itemis is happy to announce that YAKINDU Solidity Tools has been selected as a Grantee for Wave 3 of the Ethereum Foundation Grants Program.
With this program, the Ethereum Foundation seeks to support useful dapps and smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain&D, developer experience, and education.
With the grant amounting to $ 95.000 issued by the foundation, the YAKINDU Solidity Tools team can increase its effort in working on the tool.
The free to use, open source YAKINDU Solidity Tools provide an integrated development environment for ethereum / solidity based smart contracts. It is developed by itemis employees as a 4+1 working time project. As an Eclipse-based IDE, it can easily be integrated into existing toolchains.
For the rest of the year, the YAKINDU Solidity team will focus on maintenance and completion of the existing features that the IDE provides today. The current release is still in its beta phase ? the team will work hard to ship the first official release until the end of the year.
The source code of YAKINDU Solidity IDE is provided under the Eclipse Public License.
