The Strategic Parts Management PARTsolutions by CADENAS is now available in Aras PLM
(PresseBox) - CADENAS solution helps Aras users to easily find parts, increase reuse and minimize duplicate parts
Focus PLM, a Gold Partner of Aras, and CADENAS, a software developer for parts management and electronic product catalogs, have launched a solution that integrates the Strategic Parts Management PARTsolutions into Aras Innovator PLM.
The new integration was first presented in the course of the 19th Industry Forum in Augsburg, Germany in March 2018. It was then officially released at the CADENAS Solution Forum held in Bologna, Italy on May 16th. It enables a bi-directional communication between Aras PLM and the parts library of PARTsolutions powered by CADENAS. Furthermore, this integration promotes the implementation of the PURCHINEERING concept in industrial companies. The aim of PURCHINEERING (a combination of the words purchasing and engineering) is to optimize the communication between purchasing and engineering, thereby increasing the reuse of parts as well as standardization and avoiding duplicate parts.
