Customer Day at Renault Sport Formula OneTM Team Technical Centre in Enstone
(PresseBox) - As part of their partnership with Renault Sport Formula One Team, YXLON International organized an international customer day at the Technical Centre in Enstone which took place last Friday, May 18th under the headline ?Progressive Manufacturing in the fast lane?. More than 50 participants were able to engage with speakers from Ampower, DLR (Institut flity assurance in the automotive sector.
For racing enthusiasts, the tour of the Technical Centre was one of the day?s highlights. The opportunity to see how a Formula One car is designed and manufactured was an unforgettable experience, concluding with the compelling contribution of NDT Inspector Adrian Talbot, who shared with participants how development and manufacturing of high-performance race car components benefit from X-ray and CT inspection with the YXLON MU2000-D. The presentation offered an insight into how parts are inspected between race events and included original vehicle components and relevant 2D and 3D images.
Comments from guests were unanimous: ?A very good event and a good range of presentations. Adrian Talbot, NDT Inspector at Renault Sport Formula One Team summarized: ?It was a most enjoyable day. All the presentations were extremely interesting and, collectively, they highlighted how significant additive manufacturing is becoming within engineering and design. From a Non-Destructive Testing and inspection point of view, I was in awe of the capabilities that are currently available. The world of Computer Tomography is clearly advancing at an incredible pace and we as a team are very proud to have Yxlon alongside us as we explore this interesting field of expertise. Thanks to all who visited Enstone for the event, and I hope to see you all in the future.?
