Benidorm has a wealth of opportunities to offer for those who love the great outdoors.
(firmenpresse) - Benidorm is well known for its picturesque beaches and nightlife, but it has plenty more to offer for the outdoors-loving, energetic family! The mountainous terrain surrounding the city offers a wealth of opportunities, ranging from hiking to mountain biking. Let me tell you about two of my favourite full-day excursions.
Trekking in Sierra Helada
The Sierra Helada is a protected natural park that contains one of the most beautiful coastlines in the Valencia region and has much to offer any lover of the great outdoors. It has three trekking routes: the Red, Blue, and Yellow Routes. The Red Route will take you along a paved path that goes through tunnels that culminate at the Albir lighthouse and a marvellous view. You may even see some dolphin pods frolicking off the coast!
