Today, Lee continues the work that the couple set out to complete before Gerald passed away in 1995. Over the course of their professional and private lives, the Durrells saved entire species, travelled the world, authored influential books, presented TV shows and set up a conservation academy. This was all whilst running The Durrell Wildlife Park on the island of Jersey - a park that Lee is still heavily involved in running today.
