M-ENABLING Summit at REHACARE 2018 in Düsseldorf
Digital accessibility and assistive technologies for seniors and people with disablities
(PresseBox) - The first M-Enabling Summit in Germany will take place at REHACARE in Düsseldorf on September, 27th 2018. The high-level conference with its accompanying tabletop presentation is organized by the international exhibition and conference management company E.J.Krause & Associates, Inc. and G3ict (Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies). G3ict was established by the United Nations to implement the equal, barrier free participation and the unrestricted access to information and communication technology for everyone worldwide.
The United Nations passed a convention, which is already ratified by 170 states and obliges the signatories to enable all people an universal access to voice and text communications, web contents and services and IoT (Internet of Things). M-Enabling was launched by E.J.Krause & Assoc., Inc. and G3ict in 2011 in Washington to support the spread of free accessible and assistive technology for seniors and people with all kinds of disabilities and to bring together professionals, corporations, service organizations and government authorities as well as producer of mobile devices, software enterprises, network provider and technology associations. Just a few years later mobile technology is an indispensable part of independent living and M-Enabling Summit is celebrating its 7th edition in Washington, took successfully place in San Francisco, Moscow, Barcelona and is now coming to Düsseldorf in Germany.
REHACARE, organized by Messe Düsseldorf for 30 years, is the leading conference and exhibition for Independent Living in Europe. The big topics are rehabilitation, prevention, inclusion, care and mobility products and equipment for persons with physical disabilities.
