New York based plane maintenance and avionics experts, Ventura Air Services, has announced it can help limit downtime to around seven days with affordable ABS-B (Out) installations for Bombardier Learjet 60s. It is part of its commitment to excellent service in the local area.

Ventura uses Garmin Internationals world class products, and the work is done using Butler Aviations STC kit (ST2455SE) for Lear 60s, making approvals very simple.

The retrofit installs the Garmin GTX 3000 transponders, the GDL 88 GPS/WAAS Sensor and an optional Flight Stream 210. Ventura Avionics explains that one of the more notable things about the Butler National ADS-B(Out) STC solution is the optional ADS-B(In) functionality.
The GDL-88, along with the Flight Stream 210, provide Bluetooth connectivity to portable electronic devices like cell phones and iPads, and allow the crew to obtain FIS-B flight information like uplink radar and weather details. It also helps them to get ADS-B traffic rebroadcast and from other ADS-B equipped aircraft.
With the ADS-B equipment mandate fast approaching at January 1, 2020, Aircraft Electronics Association says that if every aircraft in America started getting ADS-B installed today, there still wouldn''t be enough bandwidth to accommodate every aircraft. Because of this, they are urging people to book their installation now before their plane is grounded and left waiting for an open slot at an avionics shop.
In addition to this, Ventura is offering ADS-B options for Lear 23, 24, 25, 31, 35, 36, and 55s. This is part of its commitment to excellence in trusted air services, helping to ensure that people get the best servicing, maintenance and avionics in the area.
The company explains that Ventura''s maintenance team are experts at performing 12,000 hour and 12 years inspections on the Learjet series. This allows people to combine both installs and save more time and money.
