(PresseBox) - From 26 to 28 September (booth no. 2040), WIPOTEC-OCS will present a wide range of integrated DWS solutions and catchweighers for courier, express, parcel and postal services at its POST-EXPO trade show booth in Geneva. The compact plug-and-play systems, developed in partnership with and for customers, perfectly take into account the growing diversity of parcels, rising freight volumes and increased requirements due to the greater ordering flexibility of modern supply markets.
The DWS Compact solutions from WIPOTEC-OCS for courier, express and parcel services use volume measurement, auto-identification and weighing functionality to detect every package parameter necessary for billing all the transport services in full (revenue recovery). Comprehensive data acquisition ensures safe planning and the calculation of capacity utilisation or capacity planning.
Visitors can also find out about the active vibration compensation technology AVC. WIPOTEC-OCS has recently incorporated this technology in all its catchweighers. It uses intelligent algorithms to ensure highly accurate weighing results even in environments that are subject to vibration. 360° data acquisition technology supports all weighing, dimensioning and auto-identification functions. These functions allow operators to make significant cost savings while achieving higher productivity and enhanced transparency in logistics automation. Customers include leading global CEP companies such as DHL, FedEX, USPS and UPS.
WIPOTEC-OCS also offers new solutions in intralogistics, an area where the EC-M-Warehouse catchweigher sets the benchmark. With a maximum weighing range of 35 kg, it supplies weight information accurate to the gramme and thus also forms the basis for reliable completeness checking in inbound and outbound operations. It can do this using ultra-fast EMFR weigh cells that are unique in this price segment. These precision weigh cells supply the weighing results considerably faster and more precisely than all other comparable weight sensors. They enable an extremely short and therefore space-saving construction which means shorter product gaps and consequently higher throughputs compared to conventional systems.
