(PresseBox) - Beak presents two oral presentations and is exhibiting at the symposium, which takes place at the Estrel Congress & Messe Center Berlin.
On 2nd June, at 4:15 p.m., Dr Andreas Barth presents the Geological and Mineral Information System (GMIS) in room A. The system was developed by Beak Consultants in co-operation with the Geological Survey of Tanzania from 2013 ? 2015. Beside much technical functionality as web portal and web shop, it includes a new Metallogenic Map, as well.
Andreas Knobloch will give a presentation about the application of artificial neural networks for the qualitative and quantitative prediction of geological events and phenomena on 2nd June at 12:30 p.m. in room C. In this context, he will show the functionality and application of the Beak-developed advangeo® Prediction Software.

Beak Consultants GmbH provides consulting services in the fields of geology, minerals, project due diligence, nature and soil protection, remediation of contaminated sites, planning, development and implementation of information systems, as well as data capture/cartography/GIS in Germany and abroad.
Currently, Beak employs about 40 professionals from the fields of geo-sciences, computer sciences, cartography and mathematics.
