How to Get There
Unsurprisingly given its credentials as a top business city, Munich is incredibly easy to reach from the UK. Five airlines offer about 145 direct flights weekly at convenient times throughout the day and night.
Located around 39km from the city centre, the airport is easy to reach in about 50 minutes transit time.

For those really under time constraints, there are plenty of conference centres in the adjacent airport hotels (in Airport City). Audi, Novotel, Hilton and Municon all have venues only moments from the doors of the airport.
Business Hotels (That are Entirely Pleasurable!)
Hotel Königshof, located a mere five minute walk from Central Station and Marienplatz, is the place to stay in Munich. Extremely welcoming staff and the elegant surroundings help it to stand out among the many other fantastic hotels that Munich has to offer. Its Michelin-starred Königshof Restaurant is perfect for a business lunch or dinner, and the hotel’s dedicated conference staff can organise events for up to 110 guests in one of their state of the art corporate ‘salons’.
The Holiday Inn Munich City Centre ticks all the boxes, including the cost-effective one. It’s bright and pleasant and also has excellent business facilities— with one of the biggest meeting spaces in southern Germany, with room to cater for up to 600 delegates across 20 separate spaces.
Sealing the Deal: Wining and Dining
Munich benefits from some amazing restaurants, but the stand-out one for me has to be Restaurant 181. Seriously intimate, it only seats 12 diners at a time— perfect if you need some peace and quiet to close that deal. Impressively located at the top of the Olympic Tower 600ft above Munich, the views and the Michelin starred dining experience will certainly wow your clients.
