Microstrategy symposium: Noventum presents HR-Analytics, the solution for personnel reporting
Noventum introduced an integrated analysis and presentation platform for HR officers
(PresseBox) - MicroStrategy® Incorporated, leading provider of enterprise software platforms worldwide, invited to Cologne (Germany) on April 6th 2017 for a one-day symposium. In addition to the new functions of MicroStrategy 10.7, which has been available since March, as well as industry-specific and discipline-specific solutions, best practices application of customers and partner companies were also presented at the symposium. noventum consulting, partner and sponsor of the event, introduced its analysis and presentation platform "HR-Analytics" for management, designed for executive management and HR department.
As speaker, Thorsten Nimbs, BI Sales at noventum, presented HR-Analytics, the DWH solution for the HR segment. The noventum solution focuses on the fact that in a lot of HR departments, questions that go beyond the standard report can be answered only with a very large amount of manual effort. The solution was presented live, with standard reports, VI dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses. Nimbs emphasised: "noventum has created a solution that is taking the customer already 80 % of the way (standard interfaces to the popular HR systems SAP HCM and PERSIS are available). Jointly with the customer, the last 20 % are then rounded off in order to precisely cater to the needs, processes, and definitions of the specialised department." The presentation received very good feedback. Subsequently, specific project ideas were already discussed and even the MicroStrategy experts emphasised that they would be happy to recommend the solution.

MICROSTRATEGY 10.7 WITH ENHANCED FUNCTIONS FOR ANALYTICAL AND MOBILE SOLUTIONS
In his welcoming address to the symposium attendees, Jorge Zaera, MicroStrategy Senior Vice President Field Operations Europe, and Ralf Keul, Vice President Sales Engineering EMEA &APAC, exemplarily introduced some innovations of the analysis software.
? the free access to the data discovery tool MicroStrategy Desktop,
? the already well-integrated map visualisation that now also allows for the mapping of multiple layers,
? the free-of-charge 5-day training program with foundational and advanced information regarding topics such as dashboarding, data discovery, advanced reporting, and mobile BI,
? the seamless integration of Natural Language Generation (NLG).
"I am very satisfied with the feedback to our HR-Analytics presentation and have also profited a lot from the presentations of the other companies. Thomas Schauer''s presentation regarding the integration of Thinking Networks and MicroStrategy and the joint project with noventum did get to the heart of our joint work well, and Tobias Piecha''s (Blueforte) presentation regarding the visualisation concepts showed a strong product. At Toom, the AIC Group is creating a super project in the topical area of vital customer dialogue.
