Osram on the advance

Osram is one of the largest German lamp manufacturers in Germany. But for some time the success has been stagnating. Now this downward journey seems to be coming to an end.

The well-known lamp manufacturer Osram can record a significant increase in the H7 segment for cars. The high performance level of the autolamps is also convincing in the last test of Stiftung Warentest. Especially the test criterion "light quality" can convince the auditors. Although in some cases the lamps are more expensive than those of the direct competitors, Osramlampen are more popular in onlineshops.

Of course, Osram LED lamps are also being tested. Stiftung Warentest examines here primarily energy efficiency, lighting technology, praxistest, declaration and security. Here the model Osram LED Star could get a 1.6. Unfortunately it was not enough for a top score. Even if it was only scarce. This shows the technological value Osram has for the German and European car industry.

ADAC checks lamps

The German automotive club also examines the performance levels of all lamp manufacturers. In the overall test, Osram is given a test score of 2.6. The H7 lamps from Osram were convincing due to their luminous flux, brightness, durability and light quality. This test result differs significantly from other test institutes.
