Polytec PT Develops Adhesives for Renewable Energies, Zero-Emission Mobility and Advanced Medical Engineering
(PresseBox) - Polytec PT''s continuous research efforts have recently been rewarded with the "Innovative through Research" seal of the German Stifterverband Association, an award which is dedicated to companies making extraordinary R&D expenditures, leading to both innovative products and participation in a variety of internal and external research projects.
Be it an European joint project like ?InnoModu? where Polytec PT has contributed the development of special adhesives for the manufacture of lead-free solar modules, or an internal project about thermally conductive adhesives for electric vehicle batteries and others that has been supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy through the Central Innovation Program SME ? there is always a lively discussion with customers, institutes and partners. Within the joint project ?LaserPromise?, sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, a new laser-based pretreatment process is being developed that enables secure and durable bonding on stainless steel surfaces for medical instruments and more. In addition, Polytec PT supports several industrial joint research projects within the AIF programme.
Innovative adhesive systems result from these R&D activities, like Polytec EC 242 for bonding of power chips and other power electronics applications. A particular strength at Polytec PT is the manufacturing of custom formulated adhesives in batches from several kilograms to tons and their delivery in customized packages. All this makes Polytec PT a qualified partner for the development and supply of functional high-tech adhesives for advanced applications.
