The Lantech Communications Europe GmbH will show also the advantages of the Lantech EN 50155 switch series with the unique feature ?TrainRing? for IP networks of the future at the InnoTrans 2016.
Designed for railway and other rugged applications Lantech EN50155 compliant series of the Lantech Communications Europe GmbH provides you products with miscellaneous advantages that will be explained in the following example. 
During current train operation train cars might need to separated and reoriented due to more flexble operationg requirement. When train cars are switched reconfigure network settings are required. Thus, railway operators need to have enough knowledge of Ethernet. Not only this increases the cost of labor but also results in addional time required. Lantech provides a new solution called ?TrainRing? which can automativally recover the network within 20ms without reconfiguring the settings. The Lantech ?TrainRing? evolved from the traditional ?CouplingRing?. It eliminates the setting process and will automatically and dynamically identify the primary and backup path without any configuration required. Lantech ?TrainRing? allows train operators to rapidly change the composition of trains with high efficiency and flexibility. Since all settings are done automatically configuration errors and costs can be minimized.
