AVL chooses CELUM Digital Asset Management
New Client for Linz Software Company
(PresseBox) - AVL opts for CELUM: the Graz-based internationally leading developer of powertrains and test systems will now manage all their digital marketing content using CELUM software. CELUM?s digital asset management (DAM) solution will initially ensure that the approximately 30 AVL Marketing employees from all around the globe can manage and share the most up-to-date marketing materials - from images and graphics to presentations and videos - in one system. A further development phase will see more than 8,000 AVL employees able to access over a thousand assets directly via Microsoft SharePoint®.
?We are one of Austria?s strongest R&D companies, and we?re very proud of that. We were looking for a DAM solution to automate processes and make international collaboration easier for the marketing of our many new developments and products. We found this in CELUM. We were especially impressed by the option of seamlessly integrating CELUM into our existing Microsoft SharePoint® environment, creating the possibility of a ?content hub? for all our marketing content - all while fulfilling our high data protection requirements,? said Rachel Arellano, Director of Global Corporate Marketing at AVL.
The roughly 30 employees that are active in Marketing at AVL are responsible for managing databases and assets. Over 8,000 internal users will be able to access these using the CELUM Connector for Microsoft SharePoint®. By the end of the year, further applications such as the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and the AVL.com website will use CELUM as a central hub for all content, where relevant images, videos, graphics and other assets can be accessed. The Linz-based CELUM team took over implementation of the solution for AVL.
