Francisco Almada Lobo as the Voice of Portuguese Industry
Francisco Almada Lobo will give a lecture at FEUP as part of "The Voice of Industry" campaign by the Committee of Connection with Industry to promote the Industry 4.0 in Portugal
(PresseBox) - The industry is the greatest motor for applied research activities and development of high technology and sophisticated production processes. With the new Industry 4.0 reality, the Portuguese industry will have to adjust by promoting new industrial development strategies focused on incremental innovation and / or disruptive products & processes.
For this strategy to be successful it is necessary that the various stakeholders become aware of the new model of the global industry.
Francisco Almada Lobo, CEO at Critical Manufacturing, will give a lecture dedicated to the topic of Industry 4.0 at Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto (FEUP). The lecture, followed by a debate moderated by Prof. Américo Azevedo, is part of the campaign to promote the Industry 4.0 in the national industry by the Committee of Connection with Industry at FEUP.
This will be the inaugural session of a Cycle of Lectures entitled "A VOZ DA INDÚSTRIA" ("THE VOICE OF INDUSTRY") that will occur on a quarterly basis and will focus on specific areas of industrial activities: "Circular Economy", "Energy 2050" and "Learning Factories".
