HUBER+SUHNER to unveil revolutionary products for Defense and Security at Eurosatory 2016
(firmenpresse) - Global connectivity supplier, HUBER+SUHNER, is showcasing its latest state-of-the-art technologies for Defense and Security at this year’s Eurosatory, the International Defense & Security Exhibition, taking place June 13-17 in Paris.
Visitors to HUBER+SUHNER’s Booth (J 177, Hall 6) can see new connectivity solutions developed to combat modern challenges in the industry, including the Direct GPSoF, the Next Generation Airborne Interconnect and SENCITY Shield.
“HUBER+SUHNER’s Direct GPSoF solution perfectly addresses the power supply challenges within a GPS system by making use of newly developed Power-over-Fiber technology,” said Chad Trevithick, Systems Business Program Manager at HUBER+SUHNER. “This new technology not only enables system improvements by eliminating all copper within the link, but also reduces the amount of hardware within the system by integrating the transmission functionality into the antenna.”
The Next Generation Airborne Interconnect, HUBER+SUHNER’s self-locking connector, is a simple and easy to use solution that eliminates the need for lockwire/safety wire that can lead to potential foreign object debris (FOD) in an aircraft.
The Eurosatory exhibition also marks the debut of HUBER+SUHNER’s SENCITY Shield product line, which was specifically developed to meet today’s challenging requirements for ECM missions in military and security applications.
“The low profile, shark fin design ensures low visibility while still providing exceptional electrical performance in terms of horizontal gain and high power capabilities,” Trevithick added.
