SAKL Reports System-Wide Sales in May of $1.945M
(firmenpresse) - SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (Marketwired) -- 06/08/16 -- (OTC PINK: SAKL) reports total sales of $1,945,144 across all corporate and franchised events in North America for the month of May. Ticket sales for all North American corporate and franchised events were $1,175,294 and $485,870, respectively. The lion''s share of ticket sales for May were generated by corporately run Slide the City® events. Our Green Endeavors, Inc. (OTC PINK: GRNE) entities contributed $283,980 in realized revenues. GRNE''s revenues were up from last year across all three of its locations.
Richard Surber, CEO of SAKL, commented, "The number of Slide the City® events being held are beginning to hit their stride as the summer heats up and school lets out. This last weekend we held 6 events including 3 Slide the City®, 1 Lantern Fest®, 1 Dirty Dash® and 1 Color Me Rad®. Sales for the first week in June are off to a healthy start. We have had sales exceeding $100,000 in a single day. Sales for our first and newest event, , are underway which is very exciting. May data continues to confirm that SAKL will most likely hit or exceed its 2016 revenue forecast of $18M."
Readers should note that ticket sales are not recorded as realized revenues until the event(s) are held. Ticket sales made in advance of the event are booked as unrealized revenues, a liability on the balance sheet, until the events are held. Furthermore, franchisee''s ticket sales are not booked as SAKL revenues, only the franchise fees paid to SAKL. In addition, sponsorship revenues, international ticket sales and franchise fees are not included in the May sales report for purposes of this press release.
