SAKL Extends Licensing to Japanese Company for The Lantern Fest(R)
(firmenpresse) - SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (Marketwired) -- 06/06/16 -- (OTC PINK: SAKL), announced that its subsidiary Lantern Fest Productions, Inc. has signed its first Licensing Agreement for up to 3 cities in Japan with Afro & Co. Inc. The five-year agreement provides licenses to operate our Lantern Fest® event in Tokyo. The license agreement could be the first of many, provided the Tokyo event is a success.
Richard Surber, CEO, commented, "Licensing our Lantern Fest® event on an international basis is expected to be a great source of revenue. We are hoping that The Lantern Fest can expand in a fashion similar to our Slide the City® international franchise/licensing system."
SAKL, through its subsidiary Slide the City Productions, Inc., has already signed a number of Franchise/Licensing agreements that cover many major Asian markets. The following is a sampling of Asian locations that have hosted Slide the City or may host Slide the City events this year:
China: Kowloon Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdou
Japan: Miyagi, Fukuoka, Ibaraki, Hokkaido, Shizuoka, Kyoto, Aichi, Gumma, Hiroshima, Miyazaki and Okinawa.
Southeast Asia: Malaysia; Kuantan, Malacca, Penang, Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur; Singapore, Brunei
