AMS Technologies introduces Development Kit for Compact Liquid Cooling
(PresseBox) - The mini liquid cooling kit (mLC-KIT) is an easy to integrate, compact sealed compressor system for the cooling of bio reagents and laser systems with a cooling capacity of up to 500 Watt.
The newly released mLC-KIT utilizes a low vibration and low noise mini rotary compressor and weighs only 3.4 kg. Its speed controlled brushless DC electric motor allows to efficiently control the temperature to below 20% of maximum load conditions.
With its small dimension of 200 mm x 193 mm x 180 mm (WxHxD) it fits into areas which are space constrained, and the 24 VDC input voltage makes it suitable for applications requiring mobility.
All components are carefully designed to match each other. The Kit is sealed and OEMs can easily integrate it into their system. The interface to the customer?s liquid coolant circuit is a male R ¼? connector at the brazed plate heat exchanger and the system is suitable for a variety of coolant fluids. At 5°C water temperature and 200 W of cooling capacity its power consumption is only 115 W.
Should a customer?s OEM implementation require an adaptation of the current design, AMS Technologies? design team can design and develop a complete custom solution.
