Echo award 2016 with LPS laser modules in Berlin
Since 1992 there is the echo. Every year this event international and national artists. The laser modules used were from the Swabian company LPS laser systems.
(firmenpresse) - The ECHO is a German music award, which was founded in 1992 by the German phone-Academy, the Cultural Institute of the Federal Association of music industry, to honor talented national and international artists. The first Echo ceremony was held in Cologne on May 18, 1992. At that time just 15 Echos were awarded, today there are over a hundred. The ECHO is meanwhile after the US Grammys and Brit Awards worldwide the largest award in the music business. On April 7th 2016, the 25th Echo ceremony took place. Barbara Schoeneberger moderated the glittering anniversary gala with 3000 guests at the Messe Berlin.
Already before the show rapper SIDO, Helene Fischer, Adele and Namika were deemed as TOP favorites. Also Sarah Connor, lost Frequences, the weekend, James Bay, Santiano, Peter Maffay, Felix Jaehn, major Lazer, Joris, gestoert aber geil and CRO were nominated twice under the 31 categories.
Three Echo awards went to Joris as "Newcomer national", "Radio Echo" and the "Critics Award" national DJ Robin Schulz went home with two Echos in the categories "National Dance" and "National act abroad". Helene Fischer was the Echo Queen of the evening. She won in the categories of "Album of the year", "Crossover", “music-DVD/Blue - Ray national" and "Live-Act National" incredible four Echos. With a total of 16 of the popular Echo trophies she is the most awarded artist so far. Before the most awarded artists were Cecilia Bartoli, die Kastelruther Spatzen and Simon Rattle with 13 Echos. Also other artists such as Vanessa May, Andreas Bourani, Ed Sheeran, Iron Maiden, Udo Lindenberg, Puhdys and many more received an Echo.
Enya, Mark Forster, Xavier Naidoo, The Weekend and Jamie-Lee Kriewitz were show acts, Jamie-Lee already won "the Voice of Germany 2015" and also the qualifying round for Euro Vision Song Contest on February 25th, 2016. By her special Manga Style, the impressive stage scenery and her charming personality the young singer took the viewers of the Echo Awards again in a mystical fantasy world. A good impression made the imaginative “laser beam trees", which were equipped with laser modules of the company LPS-Lasersysteme. In total 24 green laser modules were integrated in the branches of the trees. LPS-Lasersysteme accompanies the successful artist Jamie-Lee Kriewitz since her appearance at the ESC.
